Virginia M. (Robinson) Schimetschek, 80, of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Catholic Memorial Home after a long illness. She was wife of the late Andrew W. Pearson, Jr. and the late Josef Schimetschek.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Evelyn Hartley, she had lived in the Tiverton / Fall River area for most of her life. Prior to retirement, she had worked for Fall River Gas Company, Fall River Trust Company and for the Adams House in Fall River. Mrs. Schimetschek was a long time member of the Third Baptist Church, Fall River, where she played the organ and piano, and was the former choir director. She taught piano and was known for enjoying life and having fun.
She is survived by her best friend: Gladys Perkins.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Monday 10 – 11 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
