Timothy W. ‘Billy’ Lacey, 69, of 189 North Sturbridge Rd., passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 46 years, Darlene A. ‘Dee’ (Daleo) Lacey, two daughters; Karron Lacey of Southbridge and Audra Lacey of Millis, 4 grandchildren; Amanda, Joshua, Darrah-Ann, and Leenah-Ann.
Billy was born in Worcester, the son of William J. and Rita (Doucette) Lacey. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S.Army and then the U. S. Air Force.
He was a member of the Greenville Baptist Church in Rochdale.
Billy worked at the Springfield Bulk Mail Center for the U.S. Postal Service for many years and retired 10 years ago.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Service for Billy will be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 6 PM at the Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant St., in Rochdale.
