Ann P. Barnett, age 75, died in Virginia Beach, VA, Tuesday evening January 24, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Born in Woburn, Ann moved to Virginia Beach in the mid 1980's and spent 18 years there and then in 2003 she moved to York, ME. Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Mary E. (Brown) and William E. McLaughlin.
Ann attended and graduated from St. Charles High School. She was an enthusiastic N.E.Patriots fan and enjoyed watching games with her loving family. Most of all, Ann enjoyed spending time with her 5 loving grandchildren.
Ann is the devoted mother of Tracey A. Hanley of South Berwick, ME, Steven J. Hanley of Maricopa, AZ, Shalene Hanley of Virginia Beach, VA, Kristian J. Hanley and his wife Jodi of Londonderry, NH. Loving grandmother of Liam, Aine, Caden, Brady and Cody. Sister of Rita Stone and Carol A. Lynch both of Woburn, Mary E. McLaughlin of Maine, and the late Jeanne M. McLaughlin and Ruthie A. Mulrenan.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn Monday January 30th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
