Obituary

Frank P. Hilts 79 of Walpole died suddenly January 25 at Norwood Hospital. He was the husband of Edna M. (Atkinson) Hilts.
Born in Boston, October 30, 1932, the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Coulter) Hilts, Mr. Hilts was raised in Milton and had lived in Walpole since 1962.
He was a graduate of Quincy High School.
Mr. Hilts had worked for the Masoneilan Company in Norwood for 40 years, retiring as plant manager.
Mr. Hilts had served in the Walpole Industrial Commission and was a member of the Masons and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Reliance Lodge 137 in Walpole.
Frank loved to fish and go boating.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Russ Hilts and his wife Patricia of Walpole, Cindy Sullivan and her husband David of Walpole and Laurie Hayes and her husband Dan of Norfolk.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alex, Dennis, Kasi, Sean, Suzanne and Jamie.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. inWalpole at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery in Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
