Gloria (Sabbag) Kezerian, a longtime resident of Arlington, passed away November 7, 2011. She was 85 years old.
Born and raised in Boston, Gloria had worked as a manager at Haverhill National Bank & Harvard Trust Co., which later became BayBank. Gloria was very active for many years in various women’s organizations, including the Virgin Mary Society of the Church of St. John of Damascus, and the Syrian-Lebanese Women’s Club of Greater Boston. Gloria was particularly proud to be one of the first women to serve as a member of the Rotary Club of Belmont. She also enjoyed her years in the Ladies’ Birthday Club with several local friends.
Gloria was the dear and devoted wife of the late George Kezerian. Beloved mother of Karen Kezerian, and Susan Madden and her husband William. Loving sister of the late Takla Zahka, Louis, Mitchell, John and Edward Sabbag. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Gloria’s Funeral Service was held November 10, 2011 in the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. DEDHAM.
