Lisa, we are heartbroken for the loss of your Dad. He was the bravest and strongest person that I have ever had the honor and pleasure to know for over the past forty or so years. Fred was the older brother I never had. His wisdom and uncanny ability to size up life’s situations were a constant that I assumed would always be there for me. I could count on him for help. I could count on him to show me how to trim a sloppy sail. I could count on him to always have the exact right mathematical answers five seconds before my calculator.. I could never understand how he did that one.. I could count on him to make me laugh. I’m laughing and crying now because I’m hearing his words: “sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you”. I probably only heard it about 5000 times; and probably used it a few hundred times myself.. We stood by his side when God took Your sister and your mom. Now we will stand by your side to honor your Dad.. Love, Sherryl and Jay

Our thought and prayers are with the Juden family. Fred was a great guy and a true gentleman. I never heard him raise his voice ( except when Jeff or Lisa were playing sports). RIP

Lisa and Jeff, I just learned of your father's passing and am greatly saddened by the news. I had the pleasure, no, honor, of doing business with him for almost 2 decades. In my 40+ year professional career I have worked with hundreds of suppliers representatives. Most have been professional, courteous, reliable and effective at what they do. A handful are part of an elite group where one's word is one's bond, where respect and friendship go hand in hand with the work that needs to be done. Your dad was definitely part of that elite group. I will miss him. And I will keep him and you and your family in my prayers. May God grant you peace. Bill

Mrs Juden & family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Fred. I will always remember no matter what he had going on with his customers he always made time to offer some guidance & “tricks of the trade” to the new sales people. He was such a genuine guy. He will be missed .

Having seen the obituary in the Boston Globe, I was taken back to a time I once lived on Eden St. in Salem. The Juden family sort of took me in after my mother died when I was only 9. I spent quite a bit of time with Dan and Fred. I'm going as far back now as the early 1950's. I'm about to turn 74, myself. At that time, Mrs. Juden, the boys mother, invited me very regularly to spend time with them, and, she also invited me along on days spent on Mr. Dionne's boat. They all made a rough time in my life a lot better. I want to send along my condolences to the family.

Jeff and Lisa, I had so many great days working with your Dad at Burlington and much fun with both your Mom and Dad in Myrtle Beach. So sad to not have either around but wonderful to know that they are together again. They talked proudly of both of you and loved their Grandsons!!!!! God Bless them both!!!!!
