To the Belkas and Vernava families: Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss of Lianne. Her smile was infectious and her personality lit up every room she entered. Her work for the Town of Swampscott was recognized and appreciated by all. May God hold Lianne in the hollow of his hand and may her soul be bound up in The Book of Life for all eternity. RIP.

Although I am no longer a Swampscott resident, when I lived in town, I had frequent occasions to visit Town Hall. Whenever I visited an office where Lianne happened to be working at the time, I was always greeted by her in her typically cordial manner. To top things off, she was very, very efficient as well. Such a great loss to her family and to the Town of Swampscott. Rest in peace, Lianne.

To the Belkas and Vernava Families, I am deeply saddened to learn of Lianne's passing and send my deepest sympathy to you. Lianne and I met through walking many years ago; she to work and me walking my chocolate lab on Lynn Shore Drive. When I lost him she was so kind. Then, she met my new chocolate lab Homer when he was 12 weeks old (he's now 4). They became buddies. Homer looked forward to seeing her every morning and as soon as she was in view, he would sit down and wait for her to come close to us and then beg for pats which she readily gave. She was always so pleasant to talk to and was the sunshine in your day if your spirits needed a lift. We would so often speak of family, weekend plans, and work. I have missed seeing her and will remember her in my daily prayers. She touched many lives, including mine. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. RIP Lianne and pray for us. Sincerely, Elaine Stonkus

Lianne will be deeply missed. When I think of Lianne, I see her beautiful smile. Anytime I went to Town Hall, I would always stop in to say hello. She always brightened my day. My heart goes out to Dan and her family.
