Claire E. (Piette) Hardy Ferrenti, 72 of 100 Front St. died Tuesday in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Victor A. Ferrenti and Ralph D. Hardy Sr. Mrs. Ferrenti was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Evelyn M. (Fagan) Piette Sr. She was a child care giver for the Head Start Program for four years before retiring in 1994.
Mrs. Ferrenti is survived by four sons Ralph D. Hardy Jr, Kenneth G. Hardy, Michael P. Hardy and Russell Ferrenti all of Woonsocket, two daughters Lynn M. Ferrenti and Victoria C. Ferrenti both of Woonsocket, three brothers Joseph Piette Jr of Woonsocket, Joseph Piette and Edward Piette both of CT., three sisters April M. Piette and Crystal A. Piette both of CT. and Janet M. DeRoy of Burrillville, fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Robert D. Hardy.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10: 00 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Visiting hours are Friday 5-8 pm.
