Obituary

Camille J. Desrosiers 84, formerly of 16 Greene St., died Sunday in St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of Cecile (Paquin) Desrosiers. Mr. Desrosiers was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Jean Baptiste and Yvonne (Mandeville) Desrosiers. He served in the Army during WWII. Mr. Desrosiers was a milkman for Desrosiers and Sons Dairy for many years. He was a truck driver for Martel Oil and Consumers Oil until his retirement in 1988, and then worked part time for Wright’s Dairy Farm. He was a member of the Richelieu Club, a member and past president of the former Marquette Club, a member of the Royal Travelers, the St. Anthony Chorale, and the VFW.

Besides his wife he is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Bernard Desrosiers.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 pm.
