Paul J. Paiva 51, of 323 Main St. Woonsocket, died Sunday in Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Swansea, MA a son of the late Manuel and Rose (Wineta) Paiva. Mr. Paiva was a Maintenance Supervisor for Cumberland Farms Headquarters where he work for nineteen years.
He is survived by his children Paul J. Paiva Jr. and his wife Amy, of Milford, MA., Paula Varola and her husband James, of W Kingston, RI., Elizabeth Paiva of Westport, MA., Jonathon, Sarah-Beth, and Samantha Paiva all of N. Smithfield, RI., three brothers Manuel Paiva of Swansea, MA., Robert Paiva of Brighton, CO., Anthony Paiva of Somerset, MA, three sisters Patricia DaRocha, of Rumford, RI., Anne Fillion of N. Darthmouth, MA., and Rosemary Pelissier of Charlestown, RI.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-8 pm. in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA. 01701 in his memory would be appreciated.
