Obituary

James J. McIsaac, a lifelong "Proud Townie" of Charlestown, died suddenly in Charlestown on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was 60 years old.

Jim was born in Boston on June 1, 1950 to the late Peter F. and Mary F. (Foley) McIsaac. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended Boston Public Schools. Jim worked for over 23 years as a train attendant for the M.B.T.A.. He retired in 2007 and was a member of The M.B.T.A. Carmens Union, Local #589.

Jim is the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Doherty) McIsaac. He is the devoted father of Kelly Eagan and her husband Patrick, James J. McIsaac Jr. and his wife Stephanie and Erin McIsaac. He is the loving Papa to Patrick and Catherine Eagan. He is the beloved brother of Ronnie McIsaac, Betty Ann McIsaac and the late Peter McIsaac. He is the special best friend to William Irvin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim's Funeral on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Cremation will take place following the funeral mass. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m.
