Dietmar and i first meet when we was about 6 year's old. Dietmar and his family moved a few doors down from us in Southie. I remember what a nice kid he was compared to all the other kids, We always managed too stay in touch thru the year's even though often time's we were continents apart. Dietmar became the man i knew he would be, Honest,with great dignity and integrity and a kind heart. Even though i have not seen him in many year's now i regret his passing and not getting one more chance too shake his hand. We will all miss you and never forget you. Godspeed Brother.

I met Dietmar on accident way back when he worked at Starz. I asked a colleague where she got her haircut in town and I thought she said Starz so I scheduled an appointment and that is where our friendship began. Turns out that was not where she went, but I guess I was meant to meet Dietmar that day. We had so much in common, even with being born almost the same day. I followed Dietmar for many years from salon to salon and travelled over an hour for him to cut my hair. I was sad when he decided to stop and felt blessed to have known him. I will never forget his hugs and kisses. It was very sad that last cut. I knew when I came to his birthday party that it would be to say goodbye. I was moving to Florida. I spoke with Dietmar by phone a few times since I had moved and was glad I called him that last time. He was so positive and always hopeful. I will miss him terribly!

Dietmar, I just found out you passed today. I spoke with you maybe just before you passed. You told me you was sick, but I didn’t think that would be our last conversation.
