Ed was a great co-worker. He was the first to offer a helping hand and always with a smile on his face. He made sure we were taken care of whether it was a company function, ice melt on the stairs. planting flowers - anything you asked him to do, he did willingly and of course with a smile. You will be greatly missed at AI - RIP my friend......

My sincere condolences to Smitty's family. We worked together for many years at Robert Allen Fabrics. He always kept everyone laughing and I have so many wonderful memories of company cookouts and outings at Wendells. His mom worked with my brother at Automatic Machine for many years. He's been in my thoughts often. May he rest in peace. Such a great friend

As a contractor working at Autopart International, I would interact with Ed often in the Maintenance Dept. I really enjoyed talking with Ed about sports,food or the weather as he would always ask me how much snow I got in New Bedford, in July! He knew I hated the stuff.You are already missed my friend.Rest In Peace.
