He was a kind and gentle soul that will be sorely missed. As we say in the Coast Guard,"Lee, May ye have fair winds and following seas on your last journey, my friend and fellow Coastie."

It is with great sadness and distress to hear of Lee's passing. I am a recent (August 2016) member of Mass Miata but was fortunate to have met Lee at the annual summer picnic gathering in RI. We sat together and chatted about all things Miata. I had just picked up a 1995 Miata in March and was eager to learn all that I could about these fabulous little sports cars. Lee was quite accommodating with information. He and I are about the same age. Such a sad loss for all of you. Lee was much too young to be leaving us. Soon the weather will improve and we all can drop the top on our Miatas and clear out the pent up cobwebs of life that have accumulated over the winter. God bless you and give you strength. Steve Angelini

Pat and family I am sorry for your loss. I got to know you and Lee more closely during our reunions in Rockland, Charleston, and then on the Cape. I was hoping for another reunion this year. We all have a little time here and you were blessed with a great guy. My thoughts and prayers to you and family. Included is his Postscript. P.S. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. (Vivian Greene)

Lee will be missed by everyone from his WATERS family I have known Lee since 2001 when he was hired at Waters. We worked closely with each other for 13 years. I learned a lot from Lee and respected him as a colleague and as a fellow veteran for his service to our country. His contribution will not and should never be forgotten. My he now rest in peace.

Dear Pat and Family: Fay and I want to express our deepest sympathy on Lee's passing. Lee was a great friend for nearly half a century. He had the bunk just below me in the 2nd Class Petty Officer's berthing the year we were in Vietnam. We became friends then and I cherish that to this day. When I spoke to Lee just a couple of weeks ago, it never crossed my mind it would be our last chat, but I will remember laughing with Lee that day about the falling snow there. Please know that he was a great friend, well loved by his shipmates and he will be missed. I stand at attention and salute my friend, shipmate and fellow Vietnam Veteran. I have never met you, Pat, or your family; however, Lee and I graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1966. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the reunion in November; a few years ago we had a mini-reunion which I did attend. It was so good to see him then - I am extending my condolences and prayers to you and your family - Lee was such a nice person. I know he will be missed so much by his friends everywhere but not as much as you will miss him. I know your memories will carry you through.
