It goes without saying how heartbroken everyone is in the passing of this gentle, kind, and loving man. Whenever I went to his home for family dinners and cookouts, he always had a hug for me. He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. You were so lucky to have had him as your Dad. He will always be in your hearts and I know he will be watching over all of you. Rest in peace Dickey! Love, Mimi

My condolences to Dickie's entire family. He was a good person. A lot of my childhood was spent in Aunt Eloise's loving home, playing outdoor games with Dickie and Donnie or watching Hopalong Cassidy, laying on the floor in a pile of kids. I miss those innocent days. And I'll miss Dickie.

What a privilege and a honor to have met Dick in Korea where we both served at the 161st engineer Co. Dick be came a lifelong friend, one that I and my wife will never forget. He was true blue, full of faith, love for his family, respect for his country, responsible at what ever he did, always ready to help others at the drop of a hat. We both wish the world was full of people like "Dickie." Now our Lord has Dick in the palm of his hands to help spread the word of salvation for all believers. We both thank God for getting to know Dick and his family, especially when it comes to his mother. You have to be SO proud Ellie of Dick, I know we are. He will be missed but look at all memories and gifts he has left behind. I salute you, GOOD old Army buddy.
