Nick was a great man with a big heart. As a freshman on the football team in high school he helped show me the ropes and set the tone as a role model for how Lancer football should be played. Such an unfortunate event that happened but I know he will be looking down on us all with that smile he always had.

I am so sorry for your loss…Nick was one of my best friends and he will be incredibly missed. We played football and track together from the time we were kids, all the way through high school. He attacked the field the same way he attacked life; full of passion. We were both small guys out on the field, but Rozy never backed down from anything in his life; he was always the one that pushed me to be better. If I didn’t put everything I had into a race he would beat me, and he wouldn’t let me forget about it for a week. He was a fierce competitor whose energy and intensity more than made up for his size. His laugh and smile were contagious; no matter what the situation Rozy always seemed to come up with a joke that cracked everybody up. After high school we worked together at Landmark Landscaping and we had a blast. It didn't matter how miserable a job might be or how bad the weather was; we all enjoyed showing up to work just to hang out and be around each other. I think back to those days as some of the best of my life. During lunch breaks we would play stupid pranks on each other; and the pranks would keep going until it got dark. We would work hard all day and play hard late into the night. Nick could party with the best of them. I will miss his laugh and his smile that could light up a room. He was always a true friend that I could depend on; and someone who I could rely on to give solid advise even if I didn’t want to hear it at the time. I am incredibly sad to have lost such a good friend. His life was cut short, but he made the most of it and lived with more passion and enthusiasm then most people dream of. The time he spent with us made all of our lives brighter and happier. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Truly, Nick Jardin

Nick was hard worker and a good man. He always greeted you with a big smile and a big handshake. He had a good future as a carpenter. They read his obituary at the Union meeting last night. So sorry for your loss, Nick was a great guy. Worked with him everyday 3 years ago at Norfolk Aggie. He worked hard, was funny, liked talking sports with him. He also talked about spending time with his nephew which I had great respect for. Truly sorry for your loss knew him for a short time but he left a good impression.
