Denise and I were classmates for 12 years. She was bright and beautiful, and never changed over the years. I was honored to have attended a Notre Dame Reunion with Denise in 2012. Her approach to her illness was stoic; faithful to her family to the end.

To Denise's Family, I am a high school classmate of Denise and she was special to all of us. Smart, pretty, quiet but still sociable. I know that she had several health problems because I kept in touch with her. She will be missed but always told me of her her loving family although I never met any of you. I have many good memories of Denise at Notre Dame High School, most of them are of us laughing; she had such a beautiful smile, and she was a great person to be around.
