The Boyden Family, My heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Gary. I went to middle and high school with Gary and graduated with him in 1972. In June 1965 or 1966, I went on my very first Boy Scout Troop 24 camping to Hermits Lake shelter at the bottom of Tuckerman's Ravine on Mt. Washington. Mr. Jackson was the Scoutmaster assisted Mr. Brown and Mr. Boyden. There was no room at the shelters, so Gary and I took our half pup tents, button them together and pitched our pup tent on a clearing overlooking Hermit's Lake ( Mr. Boyden sleep in a half pup tent a little way down from us. As we turned in for the night, Gary looked and said "it looks like you can reach up and grab a star". Wherever I am, on a clear night I often think of those words when it is so clear that it looks like I can reach up and grab a star. When I look up now, I know Gary is amoung the stars, with a beautiful view of Mt. Washington. Again, my deepest sympathy. Wayne Janelle, Norton, MA

Stacey, I am so very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. We always enjoyed the time we spent with you both, he and Paul had lots in common and plenty to talk and laugh about. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
