My sincere sympathies to the Mowry Family, and friends. I had the joy of knowing Mike as my dad shared a room with him at EPOCH. Both my father and Mike were proud Navy WWII veterans and loved their families; the life they lived. Although both of these great men have passed, they have instilled in others the values of; kindness, friendship, caring about others, and to always do your best. To Dee Dee, Franny, Matthew, and Kenny I am deeply sorry of the new about Uncle Mike, The things I remember of Uncle Mike were all of our childhood. Providing a fun place for us to be kids and have fun. The cookouts - putting up the pool every summer for us to swim - how about the huge ramp he built for us to sled down in the winter. He was a good Father and my favorite Uncle. Thank you Uncle Mike - for evrything you did for your Country, and your family. We remember seeing Mr. Mowry's smile at many of the birthday cookouts. Kenny, Matt, Dee-Dee, Fran and Mike's Dad's joyful spirit and pride for his children and GRANDCHILDREN left an an impression on our hearts that will never be forgotten. From Feb of 1923 to Aug 1914 he lived, served, endured and more importantly loved for 91 years. May you be comforted as you remember his love for you.
