I would like to direct this email to Susan, Eric, Michael, & Laurie. My Name is Rick Granoff and I had the extreme privilege of working with Burt Weiser for over 25 years. Burt was a great friend to me and my family. We enjoyed much success in the display business. Burt was one of the most honorable and beautiful people I have ever known. Burt was single handedly responsible for bringing the first significant software display program to R.I. Lotus 123 software. In addition he was responsible for developing, selling, & nurturing one of the first, Point of Purchase display programs for Stanley Hardware in the country. Burt & I spent many of afternoons together talking shop while enjoying his Gin & tonic & a few cigarettes. Although we have been out of touch these last few years, I have always thought of him & the great times we had together. Although my heart is broken I will miss him for the rest of my life. As he represents how all men should be in the roller coaster ride of a life we live. If any of the Weiser/Brooks families ever need some help from an old friend send an email to [email protected]. I am deeply sadden to hear this news, I wish you all peace & happiness in your lives.
