Too sad for words. Absolutely the end of an era. It was always the sixties when you walked into Chick's shop. I'm happy for all the time we spent together and will truly miss him. God Bless, Herb

Hanson, ma,
Theresa my deepest sympathy for your loss. It wasn't long ago that you were at my father's wake sending us Chicks condolences. Two great men lost far too soon. I have many fond memories of hanging with my Dad at Chick's shop as far back as I can remember. I'm going to cherish those memories forever

Women were not often seen driving a hot rod. However, when I showed up at shows in my Model A and at his home for the annual BBQ, Chickie made me feel welcome and special. Chickie was a man of few words, but he and I got to know each other and I found him to be an interesting and wonderful person. Chickie's attire was black, black and black. So sorry you had to leave us and know that you will always be a part of our lives. RIP!

I knew Chicky back in his Dedham days when I worked at the Speed Shack. I also knew him through New England Dragway. He was a great builder and a credit to hot rodding. My condolences to his family.

My Father was a very good Friend of Chicky. He was always there for my dad. He was more like a brother to him and he will be truly missed. I was lucky enough to attend one of his annual cookouts. It was not only his Birthday bash, but a chance for all of old friends to reunite and talk cars. Two X-mas's ago, Uncle Chicky and Teresa stopped by my dads. Chicky ate all of the Chinese Chicken Wings. He was so happy to be there. It made my dad's x-mas. I am really sad that Chicky has passed. My dad will miss his daily phone calls. He cared so much. Well now he is with the Angels. He will now be looking down on my dad and keeping him safe. I am very sorry for your loss Teresa. He loved you and I am just glad you were the person in his life and you were there for him until the end. RIP Chicky !!!!

Teresa, as you know I was friends with Chick for over 25 years and had the pleasure of growing closer to him as the years went on. Our talks covered several topics with a ton of laughs in between. Chick made it very clear how much you meant to him. He touched so many lives. I will miss Chick, my fellow Italian Confidant! My deepest sympathy to you and the family.

Teresa, you were really something special in Chick's life. I was fortunate to spend lots of time with Chick while he rebuilt my '31 Dodge 1999 and the turn of the new Millennium. In addition to become my teacher of building practical street rods he became a great friend. A piece of Chick will always be with me every time I get go CRUIZN in my '31.

A lifetime in professional motorsports and friends like Chic, one of a kind. Our Autorama in Boston had me calling Chic for street rods. His answer, "I'll be there with 20 cars". He's a fixture in our business/sport. Godspeed Chic. We'll all miss you.......

To the Brignolo family. My condolences go out to you for the loss of a genuinely amazing and generous man. I had the privilege of being invited to your family's celebration for his birthday in 2013 and I had the best time. I only met "Chick" once but based on the amount of family and friends who gathered for his birthday celebration, it was clear that he touched many lives. Chick will sorely be missed not only by family and friends but also those of us who were lucky to have at least met a legend once. RIP Chick.

Dear Friends, I remember very well, the great times at "Chick's" He worked on several of my hot rods and I attended many of his birthday celebrations in July. I moved to California three years ago and I miss the New England hot rod scene of which Chick was so much a part of. People only die when no one remembers, Chick will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him forever.
