My condolences to family and friends of Greg. I had the pleasure of attending FSU with him. His smile would light up the room. We had some fun times at Hartfod Street where his cuzin Kevin and a few football players lived. I was couching it there at the time and had several occasions where me and Greg had to share the couch. To the Donahue family: Greg was one of the most amazing people we knew. He had been a very close and best friend to our daughter Courtney for what seems like a lifetime. We will miss him randomly stopping over, his way of making us laugh, his smile and the way he just loved life and would take on any kind of dare no matter how much he would make our hearts race.. I still can see him climbing a tree in my yard and flipping out of it! There are few young people with the kind of heart Greg had...the kind of kid that loved his friends and family with everything he had and just could not do enough for them. We will miss him more than words could ever say. Greg will live on in our hearts forever...he will never really leave any of us because he left such a mark in everyone's life who knew him. You raised such a wonderful young man! . We loved having him as an integral member of the Welch clan. Last Thanksgiving, we were all so disappointed that he could not join us in New Hampshire. We all sat at the large table, all 20 something of us, playing some silly board game and having our laughs. Suddenly the door swings open and in walks Greg, like a shining knight! Jill's face beamed in surprise, and we all broke into spontaneous applause. That is how I will always remember your Greg. Happy, romantic, full of fun and surprises. We all will miss him so much.
