Dear Reed, Kia, Katie and Reed and family, I am so sorry to hear such sad news about Gordon. Remembering her as a vibrant CRS Mom, makes me smile. She was always trying to balance her busy life with yours! I loved seeing her around Norfolk when I was raising my kids as well as around CRS. Kia, I'm so glad she got to know and adore your little one. As a grandmother myself, I know that is a blessing! Katie and Reed she knew the loves of your lives which gave her such great joy! Tim and I were saddened to see Gordon's picture and obituary in Sunday's Globe. She certainly was dedicated and generous with her time and energy to her family and extended family. Reed, Gordon was my best friend at Pomfret. I was so sad to find her obituary in the current Pomfret magazine. I had lost touch through the years although several times we reconnected and it was always lovely. Someone else commented here how generous and kind Gordon was, and I loved her for her warm-hearted and forgiving spirit. Although at 60 we have enjoyed certain longevity, it seems far too soon now and I am sorry for your family's loss of their grandmother, mother, sister and wife. Gordon possessed a brilliant spirit and it was my great fortune to have been befriended by her.
