Mine and my family's heartfelt sympathy on your loss. He holds a special place in my memories, I will never forget the nickname he used to call me by. I wish I knew the right words to say, there truly are none. Losing one's father is devastating no matter how ill they were, nothing prepares you for the emotional loss. Logically no one wants to watch someone they love dearly suffer, the heart just never gets the message. The Paille Family -(Donna, Denise and Brian)

Pat and Family, I was saddened to read of Carl's, passing. I was your Letter Carrier at 17 Shawmut Ave back in the early '70s-'80s. I remember all the children when they were small. My sincere condolences to the entire Family.

Carl was my drill instructor when I marched with St William's Band in Dorchester. Carl's lessons remain with me 50 years later. Not the marching lessons, but the lessons of class, caring, civility, and genuine concern. Men like Carl are rare. I will always be in his debt.
