I am the current Publisher of the Stars and Stripes. Pat and I first met a number of years ago at a Stripes reunion and then over the next two years I worked with him on the obtaining of the Stripes Association trademark. Pat was always professional but more significant fun, charming, always looking for opportunities to help, and a good person to be around. Pat has made a difference in so man lives he touched including those he served with in the military and those he served while at Stripes. We will miss you Pat.

Bill, Kathy, Bob and Sue, Your Father meant so much to me and I will deeply miss him. I so appreciate him for so many reasons but mostly since he always cared so deeply for so many family members that I love. The love and support he provided trickled down to so many of us and I am forever grateful to him. These people include my father and uncles whom he was a father figure after their father died so young. He kept them all on the right path and was a beautiful role model for them. He also cared so wonderfully for Nana and Aunt Kate and was a consistent pillar of support to his sisters until, and even after, they passed on. He inspired my love of Ireland and of past generations and I will always remember meeting him in Athlone and sharing that bond with him. He also left four wonderful children whom I adore so much! Thank you for sharing him with all of us. I am thinking of you all and I look forward to keeping his memory alive with you through photos and stories. Love, Julie
