I have fond memories of David as a child coming to the office where I worked as a nurse. I always looked forward to his latest stories about the fish he caught while fishing with his Dad. My favorite of all time was the one about the " pickle", (pickerel). When I asked him what he had caught lately, he exclaimed with wide eyes, " I CAUGHT A PICKEL THIS BIG!!"( holding his little hands about 2 feet apart). My heart goes out to Davids parents. I have known Dave for many years. Zak introduced us. He helped me move apartments, gear at gigs, and was all around a wonderful human. He will be missed. Not many DJ's "get it" audio wise the way he did.

I met Dave when we were 10 yrs old. We met at franklin skating rink public skate. We ended up becoming good friends and always skated together. My father also skated with us. He played hockey so he would show Dave some tricks for his hockey games. Dave and i would race around the rink.After Friday night public skate we would go to friendly's to get ice cream with our fathers. Although my father and I have not seen Dave or his family in a long time, I will always have those memories. Dave and I were good friends. I grew up in the life of Ice Skating and I met Dave when I was skating in Norfolk... He would make my day by being funny and kind and I thank him so much for that... I am so so so sorry for this horrible loss and I will miss him so much, sorry I am still crying as I write this but I would like to say he is still in the hearts of everyone he met and that is what is really special and again ...sorry
