Will miss Pat and the times we exchanged amusing stories about how our beloved pets owned and ruled us with benevolent paws. He was a lovely person.

Quincy, Ma,
Pat and Michael were good friends for over 40 years. During this time they made many memories that will stay with us for ever. The best one was at the cottage in Halifax when they took the boat out on the lake. They got into the middle of a thunder and lightning storm but made it across. Pat's mom didn't know this and she called the police to report them missing. Meanwhile they were on the other side of the lake waiting for the weather to clear when the police came by. They had no idea why the cops were looking for them. You can imagine how made they were at his mother when they found out it was she that called them. Needless to say everyone was happy and all was forgiven when they returned to the cottage safe and sound. We love you Pat!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Pat's family: My husband Joel and I knew Pat through Joel's brother Michael, a close friend of Pat's. Pat attended our wedding in 1985 and was the hit of the reception when, after catching the garter, he made it look like he pulled off a pair of black lacy panties from the girl who caught the bouquet. Over the years we heard many such stories of Pat and his pranks. And until a few years ago we hadn't seen him in years. But he had the same mischievous smile and laugh, and that's the way we will remember him. Joel and I are sad to learn of his passing. He will be remembered warmly. My condolences to Pat's friends and family. I worked with Pat, and I enjoyed many cups of coffee, chatting about simple things in life, and laughed at his good stories and funny jokes.
