Chuck was a wonderful co-worker, a great supervisor and an all around nice person. He was a very dedicated employee who led by example. He will be greatly missed.

Wilmington, MA,
I worked with Chuck for 20 years at Textron. With all of our travel and work together down through the years, we got to know each other well. I admired him and considered him a friend, and a fine man. He was great to work with, and a pleasure to hang out with. Some of my funniest work travel memories involve Chuck's reactions to food when travelling. I remember him desperate for water after eating a chili pepper at a Chinese restaurant, his staunch refusal to return to a hole-in-the-wall barbecue restaurant because he'd seen a cockroach, and him declaring loudly that Jack-In-The-Box gave him digestive issues (not the word he used!). When you are stuck in Greenville, TX for 6 weeks, these things are funny. I continued to keep track of Chuck's status after Textron through Jeff Lambert, and our occasional former-Textron gatherings, and it is hard to believe his is gone. I pray he has found peace, and wish the best for his family.

I worked with Chuck for many years on the Cobra Ball Program. We had many great times and also some very difficult times. Through all of it's ups and downs Chuck was always a real pleasure to work with. He was someone you could alsways count on to come through for you. I miss all of the good times we had together over the years but most of all will miss Chuck. Jim T

I met Chuck on a company softball team in '88. For years I watched while he put the ball in play hard consistently, caught everything near him, and held guys to long singles. Things changed little once indoors; Chuck just put his head down, did his work, got results, and ignored where the accolades fell. There never were that many quiet good guys. Now there's one less.

I was in senior management at TSC for years and for a time I had the privilege to be responsible for the Cobra Ball Program. In that context, I got to know Chuck. He was well respected by his colleagues, me and the customer. His family and especially his children should know that he did important work for the United States for years as a significant part of that team. As you can see by other messages on this site, he will be missed by them. May he rest in peace

Chuck and I attended junior high and high school together. We were in many of the same classes and became friends. I remember Chuck as a really great kid with good sense of humor. My condolences go out to all of Chuck's family during this very difficult time.

My husband Brian and I had the privilege to work closely with Chuck for over 27 years at Textron in support of the Cobra Ball program. As Program Manager Chuck was a tireless and dedicated worker whose efforts were key to the success of this critical national asset. As a friend we knew Chuck’s wonderful sense of humor and his easy going nature. He was understated, incredibly kind, and approached all of his dealings with the utmost honesty and integrity. We went on a large number of work trips with Chuck, and have so many funny memories of the times we shared together. We will miss him very much. Chuck always spoke proudly of his children and it was obvious how much he loved them. We wish his family peace and comfort.
