Paul was my Godfather and one of the finest people I have ever known. He had an immensely positive impact on my life. One of my first memories was Paul rescuing me from some large waves at Chapoquoit Beach in Falmouth when I was about three years old. Pauline, I am very sorry for your loss. Thank you for everything you and Paul did for me over the years.

Paul Foley, a truly wonderful man, passed away last Friday too soon. In his 82 years, long life for some not long enough for those of us privileged to know him, he lived a meaningful life with his extraordinary wife, Pauline. Seeing Paul and Pauline together, true love birds, was always heart warming. Paul was a dedicated family man, ready friend, committed community member and terrific tennis buddy. He played tennis as he lived his life with passion, dedication and fun. Paul is in Heaven with God…I’m just selfishly sorry because I will miss him and time with him. Sincere sympathy to you Pauline and family.

It was always a joy to see Paul walking down the path to our designated court with a great big smile for us. He had just finished playing with the better players at the other end of the courts. We marveled at his energy to play three hours of tennis and do so several times a week. He and Pauline were so popular within the Sterling Oaks community and I know that I speak for all the members of our tennis association as I offer sincere condolences to Pauline along with the hope that she will find herself here again the future.
