This was a man who gave his best for his family, community, church and to me. Al was a real man's man. My own father died in 1981, there was no substitute for him....if there was Al was it. I loved this man as much as my own Dad and respected him and his teachings. Not just a tile career but about life. I always felt proud when people thought I was his son. I will miss you Al. You touched a lot of hearts in your lifetime not just mine. But you will always be..... a DAD, a Mentor and my BEST FRIEND.

Mary, Pat and whole family. I am so very sorry for the passing of your dad. I have the very best memories of fun times with your family on Lorne Rd, I remember playing baseball and finally when I was in 5th grade learning to ride a bike on Lorne Road.My love and hugs are with you all during this difficult time of grief. I just came across Uncle Al's Obituary. I wish I had known earlier or I would have gone to see him. It has been so long since we saw Uncle Al and Aunt Mary. He was so kind to my mother when she had her stroke. Loving thoughts and prayers to all!
