Jimmy, it breaks my heart truly to have seen and heard of your struggles & of your leaving us so young. I am humbled and honored of the time and friendship we had between us. Whether it was our love for the same foods, cooking, art & cartooning, music, clothing, sports (as you played on the Dodgers and I was on the Red Sox...huh), to Architecture and experiencing the best years of our high school life in Drafting together, to the awesome tuna sandwiches your mother would make that you'd share in school, to the time when you and I was after the same girl in Lincoln Junior High, and you went to sharpen your pencil to flirt with her at the same time I was in French class, where it ended with me having 4 stitches in my head and a boring trip to the nurse...Jim both, I have soooo many memories of things that shaped my childhood throughout the yrs following going off to college. I will surely miss you, your fun-loving kind heart and the person you were in the hearts of so many people you touched. Hanging with one of the best looking & popular kids in school NEVER landed me a girlfriend or anything (lol), but I thoroughly enjoyed being your friend. I love yah buddy and know that you're in a better place now, and that we'll surely see each other again one day! Buy for now my friend!

To the family of Jimmy Freitas, Lynne, Big Jimbo Angela and all extended family members, on behalf of Myself and my wife Ellen, we are so sorry for the sudden passing of Jimmy. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I can't imagine the sadness and emptiness losing someone you love so much brings the family. Just know that ANYTHING you all need, and I mean this truly, please don't ever hesitate to call me and ask of me to serve whatever, where ever it may be, just like Jimmy would have done for others too. I guess thats how we were both raised together andnthats the way are. My love goes out to all of you at this time! I am honored to have been a friend of Jimmy's and of your family :)

My deepest condolences to the Freitas family. I had the pleasure of being Jimmy's math teacher at the voc for four years. I remember Jimmy as a very good student and a great kid. Jimmy was a credit to his family.
