Auntie Agnes was the last member of a generation of aunts and uncles that I grew up with in the 1950s, 1960s, & 1970s. She was a unique and independent women for her era and fiercely protective of her family. I remember all the fun we had taking trips to Wright's Pond or shopping at Porter Square. Now she has returned to her original family, and we will all miss her very much. Auntie - please say hi to my mom for me....

Dear Marilyn -- I was so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away. Although I haven't seen the Marycliff/Nazareth girls in years, there was a bond among all of us that will never be broken. My heart goes out to you at this time, as I know all too well the pain of losing a parent. May you be strong and well. Your Mom will live on in the many people who loved her. I will forever remember her as a fiercely proud Mom -- wearing a leopard coat, with her beautiful hair in an updo -- watching a musical performance at Marycliff. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Joanne Champa
