Dear Mitchell Family: I am so sorry to read about the passing of Janet. Janet took care of my two children in her home over 25 years ago. She and Ray became another set of grandparents to them, so much so that they referred to her and Ray as Nana and Papa Mitchell. She was a kind, loving woman who treated my children, especially my son Michael, as if they were her own. Though we lost touch over the years, I thought of her often. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the loss of such a fine woman. May she rest in peace.
