Our families were so very close starting way back in the days of the West End and then Somerville. Time slowly has taken away many of those best of friends, Compare John, Comare Rosa and so many of her children, Carmelo and Giuseppina Torardi, Vera, and now Charlie. Although we have drifted apart with our individual lives, I still remember and cherish the love and friendship shared between the Chillemi's and Torardi's. My sincere condolences to the family...

Charlie and my dad were friends from the West End and played a monthly card game with many of their friends..I remember Charlie coming to my house as a young child...My sympathies to his family and I know my dad was happy to have another card playing buddy to join him and his brothers at the card table!
