The Winchester Building Dept. would like to extend our deepest condolences to you all. Joe worked with us for several years before going to Medford which was their good fortune. He was the epitome of a gentleman and a proffesional colleague of the first water. Joe's wit and humor were infectious and will be sourly missed by all that knew him. Sincerly Al Wile Building Commissioner.

Dear Family-Please accept my condolences on the passing of Joe-a great Dad, grandfather and friend loved by all. I first met him years ago at St. Agnes School when I ran their fundraiser known as Countryola. My oldest,Brian, is around Nancy's age-39 this year and graduated from ACHS in 1994. Then I really got to know him as a dental patient at Dr. Giatrelis' in Melrose. I was his dental hygienist for many years there until I retired in August 2012, sold our home in Arlington and moved to the summer home we had owned for almost 40 years. We often talked about many things over the years including his family, the ice cream store( just down the street from the other dental office(Dr. Connolly's-now sold) where I worked) and his Medford and Maine homes. I was saddened to open the newspaper, find his obituary and then speak with Dottie at Dr. Giatrelis' office. He was truly one of my very favorite people!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will be missed. Nancy Kennedy
