Uncle, I'm still a bit speechless. My heart is heavy with your loss... You always showed myself, Jamie and Anthony Nicholas, in your way, love, compassion, concern, and generosity... you were always there even when you weren't seen. Our love for meatballs will never again be satisfied.. you have left a large void for many. The kitchen, dining table, golf course and card table will have an un-fillable empty seat.... as will many others, I will miss you always. Forever in my heart, love Jodi

Dear Deena, I was so sorry when I got the call from Ronnie that your father had passed. Your father was a wonderful man, and I have so many good memories of him and your mom. He was hysterically funny, noone will ever tell a story better than Neal! I wish you much comfort, peace, and many happy memories of him to get you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Mazza family, Neil was a loyal guy. My special memories are our times on Uncle Billy's boat, cookouts at our house in the boonies of Winchester in the 50's and 60's and of course, Sunday dinners at Fremont Street. I truly felt honored that he took the time to visit me when I came to MA on vacation and asked him genealogy questions. He was always ready with some great stories. Prayers. Love, Cousin Rhoda

Dear Deena Your Dad was an incredibly wonderful force to be reckoned with, which is why his passing leaves such a large an empty void to you, your family and to all who loved him. As you step through the pain of this difficult loss, it will be the subtle messages sent by both your Mom and Dad that will remind you that they are always a presence in your life. They will guide you in your life’s journey, if you leave your heart and mind open to those messages. The legacy people leave behind varies for each person, but it seems clear to me that your Dad’s greatest legacy is to have you, a child who so loved him, walk this most trying journey of serious health issues right by his side. His legacy, too, was his love for his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and those he “adopted” out of his love and concern for them. When I think of your Dad, with a smile on my face, it is seeing him always looking so “dapper”. The ever reigning Patriarch of the family, he never pretended to be someone he wasn’t or to like someone he didn’t. So when you got one of his always genuine, hugs, kisses or handshakes, it was welcoming and real and you knew he meant it. He never faltered being true to himself, regardless as to what other may have thought. For all of this, I admired him. Please know that my heart hurts for his passing and for the terrible loss that it leaves to you and your family. I send healing thoughts and prayers, as do many others. Those thoughts and prayers will be the tiny lights of love that will help to light your path in the days ahead. Peace and Heartfelt Love, Lu
