SO sorry for the pain and loss of your father, brother, and grandfather. Mr. McGaffigan's character, sense of humor and love of God and family is so evident in my good friends his son Mugsy and wife Beth Ann. I met Mr. McGaffigan only a couple of times and found him to be a real gentleman with a touch of mischief and a great sense of humor. I'm proud to call his son Peter a friend and know by HIS character, Peter, Sr. must have been a hell of a father and a great man. God Bless him and may he forever Rest in Peace, he's earned it.

Knew Officer McGaffigan as a young officer when he used to "walk the beat" on the Fellsway. He would always stop into my Dad's Grocery store to say hi and make sure everything was ok. He was the first police officer I got to know. He was kind and had a great singing voice. I send my condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.

SO veiy sorry to hear of your loss. Mac was a great friend of mine from our childhood on Grant Ave. in Medford.We played sports together and had many good times that we shared.Will be sadly missed by many.
