Donna was a gracious lady from our times at Salem State College to most recently when she visited me in Naples, Florida, in March of 2014. She always had a smile on her face and a little chuckle at the humorous issues in life. She bore her illness with grace and faith. We shall miss her charm and sincerity.

Dear Carl and family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the occasion of Donna's return home to God. During our many years together at St. Mary's, Donna became not only a wonderful colleague but also a dear and valued friend. Her warmth and concern for others, as well as her willingness to always lend a sympathetic ear, really demonstrated how special a person she was. The kids at school absolutely loved her! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time, and know with confidence that she is undoubtedly now enjoying the rewards of a life well-lived. With so much gratitude to have known Donna, I am Sincerely, Mark Flint St. Mary of the Annunciation School, Melrose

Donna was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know. My thoughts and prayers are with Carl, Dave Matt, Sue, the girls, Len and Anne. Donna was always devoted to her family, she was selfless in her love and giving to others. I hope she rests easy knowing how very much she was loved and how deeply she will be missed. The girls have a new Angel.

To the Galusis- Matty, David and Carl, I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing at such an early age. What a shock to me. I remember Donna as a very giving person. At the holidays Donna often prepared SO MUCH that she had extra gifts to give to anyone who needed a pick me up. What a sweet person she was and I know you will miss her so much. May it comfort you to know she is finally at peace, no longer bearing discomfort. A few years ago I went through the pain you are suffering when I lost Charlie, my husband- so I know how you must feel. If there is anything I can do or say - please contact me. [email protected] With sincere sympathy, Anita

Back in my St. Clement days, when the Sollitto family welcomed me into their home as one of their own, Len and I were like brothers and Donna was my big sister. Her smile and laughter could melt an iceberg. Sweetness and goodness defined her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Robert S. Vigorito

To the Galusi Family: My sincere condolences on the loss of Donna. My son has attended St. Mary's School for the past 10 years. Mrs. Galusi was always very kind to him, when she was teaching Computer class, and when she subsequently worked in the library. I knew Mrs. Galusi well from volunteering in the library, and I appreciated her sense of humor and patience. My family was on vacation when she passed away, and I only learned of the loss when my son returned to school. I apologize that this is a belated condolence. She was a wonderful woman. May she rest in peace.
