Dearest Mary: When I first came to the U.S., you were like a second mother to me, and you treated me as a daughter. I learned so much from you, not only about Italian food, but also about life. And it is those life lessons that will always remind me of the wonderful woman that you were. I especially recall when you would say, "we'll see," every time you did not wish to hurt someone's feelings by saying no because you were always so upfront, honest, loving and caring. Mrs. Ferrara was the kindest woman I have ever met. She was an angel on earth. Your brought up a beautiful family. You are all loving individuals. My heart goes out to family. Special hug for my dear friend Louise. Special thoughts and prayers are sent to my sister Jeanne and my brother in law John. God Bless you all. Your mom went to heaven on the angels wings and no doubt had a direct flight into the arms of Jesus and her loved ones. God Bless your entire family with peace and comfort knowing that your mom is smiling down on all of you and sending the love she never ceased to give.
