Dear Charlie and Family, Your father was a great man and loved life! Like many parents of their Generation they valued Family and hard work ethics. I have many fond memories of your dad during our high scholl run. He taught me how to turn a double play in baseball and taught me how to play that Italian hand game at your party. Love you!

Dear Michael, Charlie, Lisa and Charneen, Your dear father's passing marks the end of an era in my mind…. Too soon! Your mother, Leonard, my husband and I, we were all young together - once. The men played….. But Baseball was never just a game, it was the magic which made every summer and season glorious and created a deep bond that was passed on to you - and the younger generations. It provided many happy hours for those who played or watched. Beyond sports, your handsome father was an original whose physical presence and wonderful voice seemed to dominate any situation, his strength was reassuring and tangible. His values were timeless and I feel certain that they will enable you now to continue with wonderful memories of a father, seemingly invincible even as he accepted the limits Life imposed in the end. lisa micheal,charlie n chana i just know your dad is so happy right now with his sisters and beautiful Margy , not to mention he is also with my dad . What more can I say about the strength of this man . He kept our family together . He never gave up , he was our hero . There will never , ever be anyone in my life that I will hold the highest regards for . He was a beautiful son , brother ,husband , dad , uncle , cousin , friend , grandfather to all of us . His shoes will never be filled . He was the go to guy . I will miss his laugh , and his jokes . But most of all I will miss the way he loved his children . Life won't be the same without you .
