I will miss my Sookums, but I know she will be with Papaw again and that makes my heart happy. I was with her when her last best friend passed away several years ago. It broke her heart to be left as the last one of the "bunch." She never failed to start me laughing or surprise me with a comment shared between us that as a kid, I would have never heard come out of her mouth. A few years ago she told me I made the best coffee... All I did was put the grounds in the coffee maker and add water... I think she wanted me to stay with her more that just the month. She and my Papaw together were a hysterical force to be reckoned with. Never a dull moment from becoming a part of a law enforcement pursuit down I-55 to vacation with them and Sook covered up in a towel because Papaw had the AC on too high. I will sure miss her.
