Jane and Charlotte, how heavy my heart is to read of the passing of my dear friend, your husband and brother. I loved Billy like a brother. Please know y'all are in my prayers and thoughts as I think back over the good times we had at Camp Ground School! One thing we know for sure, we'll all be together again in Heaven, where there's no more diabetes and suffering. May God fill the vacancy left in your hearts and homes with His love, comfort, peace, and strength to help you go on. I will be praying for y'all and wish I could visit, but I can't drive anymore. My love to you.

My prayers are with you all. I go back many years with the family at Second Baptist Church in the 60's when Bro. J.A. Fondren was the pastor. Billy led the choir and song leading and his sister Charlotte played the piano. Not only that but Charlotte was my Sunday School teacher. Their mother and daddy were regular members of the church too. I watched their 2 sons (Brian and Chris) grow from little boys to fine young men. Then later years, Billy's wife Jane worked at Holley as the plant manager's receptionist and I talked to her almost everyday. A good family to have known and to have grown up with. My prayers and love are with you. God Bless.
