I was so so sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Aubrey... I have so many precious memories of him from my childhood .. he was always so funny and always made us laugh and smile... He was always there to listen and to give advice ..... he always had a witty comeback for anything you had to say.... He just loved to see everyone around him happy.. that was all that mattered to him.... He was such a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather as well ...I am so sorry for your loss ...... I hope you all can try to find some peace in knowing that he is in heaven reunited with Aunt Lola... He just loved her so very and was just heartbroken when she passed in January of 2015 ... I just want to let you all know that I am so sorry and that I am thinking of you all and have you all in my heart and in my prayers during this very difficult time... I know MeMe ( Marie Wells) thought highly of him and I am sure she was there with Aunt Lola in Heaven to greet him ... I love you all very much .. If there is anything I can do for any of you .. please don't hesitate to ask me... 901-395-6528 R.I.P Uncle Aubrey .. The Water Valley SDA church has been going to the nursing home one Sabbath a month to share our love with the residents. I knew Mr. McDonald thru my sister's best friend, Maggie. All of us have come to love all of the residents, but Mr. McDonald was special. He always flashed that big smile when we came in and was generous with his hugs. I will surely miss him and his smile as we continue to visit the nursing home. I will certainly have all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Love to all of you.
