Dear JoAnn, My sincere sympathy. Allow the support of your family and friends sustain you during this time of overwhelming grief and eventually the great memories will surface and a smile will cross your face when you think of Steve. I worked with Steve at IKEA. I can't say enough about this great man. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.Posted: 05/24/2013 by Jenna Cunha of Taunton, MA,
To the Birdsall family,
I want to offer my condolences on the passing of Stephen.
I worked at IKEA with him and only had small interactions with him, but when I did, he was such a pleasure to interact with.
He always was positive, kind, friendly and just an overall sweet guy.
His presence has been missed around the store, and I feel we were all lucky to have him in the short time that we did.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I cannot tell you how very sorry I am. There just aren't any words to express the feelings.........
Steve was the greatest guy and I am proud I could say he was my friend. He was the love of your life and you were his. I know so few people who can truly say that. I will keep you, Eric & Jenna in my thoughts and prayers.
