Jose Soto-Bermudez, age 77, of Brockton died Saturday February 18, 2012 at the Bridgewater Nursing Home. He was born on August 11, 1934 in Anasco Puerto Rico.
He liked CB Radios, walking, reading the bible and listening to music. Jose loved to spend time with his family and to go eat ice cream with his grandchildren. He loved watching the baseball game especially when it was Yankees vs Red Sox because he was a big fan of the Yankees. He also loved to play dominoes. He lived in New York and then moved back to Puerto Rico to care for his mom. He moved to Brockton MA to be with his daughters.
Jose was a father of 2 daughters Rosa Soto Osorio and Barbara Soto Gonzalez and 3 boys Jose Luis Soto, Luis Armando Soto and Omar Ivan Soto Rodriguez. He leaves 10 grandchildren Grand Kids Luis Armando Soto Jr (18), Tiffany Eileen Soto (16), Anthony Ivan Osorio (11), Jomar Angel Soto Castro (9), Amaryllis Ivette Osorio (9), Casiano Ivan Miranda Rodriguez (8), J’den Omar Rodriguez (4), Samuel Luis Gonzalez (2), Mya Marie Rodriquez (10) months and Savant Luke Gonzalez (6) months. He was a son of Rosa Bermudez and Jose Isabel Soto and one of seven children.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday February 22, 2012 from 5 to 8pm with a prayer service at 5pm.
