Mickey was really looking forward to seeing me in my wedding dress. Although she was going to be in the hospital on my wedding day. We were planning on going to see her on Sunday dressed in our wedding attire and bring her corsage. She'll have her cosage earlier than planned and she will be looking down on me on my wedding day standing next to Papa.

My deepest sympathy to the Dowling Family. When I think back to growing up on Perham Street, I cannot help but think of Mrs. Dowling. She was just a lovely person with a wonderful sense of humor. Please know that I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mrs. Dowling.....may the Perpetual Light shine upon you and may you rest in Peace. With heartfelt sympathy, Stella (DiBella) Morris

Rosemary was a wonderful human being and an excellent aunt (& aunt-in-law). She will be remembered for her many kindnesses to her nephew Bob Houston and her warm welcome to his wife Beth. She will be most remembered for her humor and wise outlook on life. She always had a good joke. Our thoughts are with the extended Dowling clan. Rest in peace in the hands of God Rosemary. Beth & Bob Houston

Mrs. Rosemary Mary Dowling was a true friend to my mother, Grace Marie Feeney, and showed compassion, as well as friendship to a fellow mother, neighbor, and kindred Spirit. Both had more than fellowship, they were expressive, born thespians, and used their magic to bring laughter into a world that needed more laughter and fellowship. Their children was their world and Mrs. Rosemary Dowling could make other children jealous, by the way she focused all her attention and love upon her family. She had terrific jokes, was a really fantastic cook, and always knew when I was "pulling her leg," but in many years of fun conversations with everyone, she had too much class to cause embarrassment. Her way of letting those of us who challenged her keen wit, would be occasionally stung every so slightly, with well thought out quips, that let us know, she knew, and she made us laugh again, again, and again. As a natural born story teller, she will never be forgotten, for her words are in the air we breathe, and always will be. P.S.: Just wish she had left me her recipe for Apricot Squares...
