Dear Mrs. Cunniffe, Jack and I are very sad about the passing of your husband, Jack. We only knew him as the starter at George Wright Golf Course. A few years ago when my husband asked me to play golf there, he said, "You may not find it a very welcoming place for women." Well, your husband welcomed me so warmly, I never felt uncomfortable there. Jack and I usually play on Wednesdays and your Jack was always there to welcome me. We shall miss his kind and warm ways. Our condolences to you and the family.
