My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of your loved one rest in peace. I enjoyed working with Bob and always marveled his calm yet resolute demeanor. He will be dearly missed!

I really only knew Bob form playing street hockey on Sunday mornings in Cambridge. After playing street hockey with varying opponents over my many years Bob proved himself to be nothing but a gentlemen both on and off the court. Within our group over the years I was lucky enough to get to know him a bit more off the court. He was a fiercely proud father and also a great influence to my son and his friends who played with us on Sunday mornings. I will keep Bob and the family he loved so much in my prayers these next few weeks. If they are playing street hockey in heaven today I know Bob is driving everyone crazy with his tenacious defense and constant effort. Mark Smith, Max Smith and Barry Walsh

My heartfelt condolences to Bob's family. He was a great person and friend growing up together in West Warwick. We had lots of fun playing street hockey in the neighborhood and he taught me how to build skateboards- his creations were works of art- mine not so much. Hope Bob's skating on the clouds right now. So sorry to hear the news of your loss. I had fond memories of working with Bob at Bennys back in the 70's. We played softball together. We also played streethockey and rode around in cars committing various acts of mischief. Those were formative years and Bob was a good friend. May the good lord bless you and your family. I'm sure Bob will be dearly missed. Though I hadn't seen Bob in years, I'm sincerely saddened. Take care.

My thoughts have been with Bob and his family over the past few weeks since the moment I heard about his passing. I, like many other friends of Bob, knew him through years of playing street hockey in Cambridge. He was a great, fun and passionate person... all shown just by being with him for only a few hours, on Sunday's for the past 5-6 years. I'll always have good memories of him on the hockey court, and hope his family will remember him as a strong, wel loved man.
