Pat Kelly was an incredible man. I have very fond memories of him from my childhood. Pat and Peggy were always at our house for celebrations, birthdays, holidays, etc. They were part of our family. My brother Michael told me with Pat's passing that we lost a legend. There were never more true words spoken. He was just that - a legend. My grandmother, Babs, loved him so very much. Pat was the son that she never had. How could you not love him? His quick wit, Irish charm and good looks definitely had won Babs over from day one! Pat will be terribly missed by my family. I know that he is in heaven sitting next to Babs. They are probably having a drink together catching up. Rest in the sweetest of peace, Pat. Until we meet again...

Dear Peggy, What a sad discovery to realize the passing of your dear husband. Malik and I share sweet memories of exchanged pleasantries with you and Patrick on Sundays at the Corrib. Our community has lost a good man, and we shall all miss his gracious manner and winning smile. May he rest in peace.
