To: My Dear Gibbs Family: Yes, it is so difficult to say good-bye to our Penny!! I have so many blessed memories of her. When I think of Westside Church, I think of Penny, her parents, and siblings, who were such giving people. They were always so good to my family and to me. However, we must now think of Penny as she is resting in the arms of Jesus Christ our Saviour, walking those streets of gold and enjoying all the joyous things that only God could prepare for her in Heaven. Love you, Penny!! Shirley Pate Brock

Gibbs family. . . I have lost a part of my childhood with Penny's passing. I remember going to your house with Penny in the afternoons, playing with Annette and Grady who lived next door, wanting so much to watch Betty paint, laughing at Buddy, and admiring Patsy's beautiful face. As we grew older, Penny and I would do our homework together many afternoons at my grandmother's. . .I will miss her but I'm glad she doesn't have to suffer any more. I regret that I couldn't visit with her these past painful months but she was always in my thoughts. She will be missed by so many friends and neighbors Love to all, Susan

I have so many wonderful memories of Penny. She chose to be in the delivery room with me when the twins were born. That was such a blessing! She always brought me fresh picked flowers and she knew daisies were my favorite. She was a good friend, always there for me and always cheerful and caring. My thoughts are prayers are with you.

I worked with Penny for many years at Tift Regional. She was a caring nurse and an amazing person. I remember she once told me that her goal as a young lady was to obtain her nursing license and own a new Ford Thunderbird and that she had obtained both and was very happy with that. She will certainly be missed by all that knew her.

Dear Family, Penny was a classmate of ours. She was a loving friend who, in her clever way, made us all laugh. We graduated from Turner County in the Class of '58. We will cherish her memory. Sonny & Laverne Bullington Pate

I am so saddened not to be able to attend the celebration of Penny's life. We had so many memories over most of our lifetime. From Las Vegas, Paris France to the GA mountains she was such a funny, dry witted, happy person. Looking after everyone with her very strong personality. No need to waste your time arguing that was the way it was going to be. I know her cats were waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. Don't really know how excited she was about that but!!! She will be so fondly remembered and missed by many. I hope the weather was perfect for making divinity when she got to paradise. Oh no, there was a soft, peaceful rain. Rest well my friend.

Praying for the family. Sorry I could not make it to visitation. I was not able to come because of sickness. Penny will be greatly missed. I'll always remember her divinity candy. She always brought some to the Reed reunion.

Cliff, sorry to hear about Penny. She was always kind to me and I remember her as one of my first baby sitters. Best to you and your family
